If a person feels pain, or some discomfort somewhere in their body they put their hand on the area of the complaint and say:

In the name of God, in the name of God, in the name of God, I take refuge in the Might of God and His Power from the malevolence of this pain that I am experiencing and that is troubling me.

(They repeat this action with the supplication seven times.)
